HERITAGE
Pomok’s origins lie in early textile experiments and a design philosophy that placed fabric at the center of form, structure, and emotion.

The origins of POMOK are rooted in the textile experimentation and research developed through COSER, a brand led by designer Bae Youngjin. Guided by the belief that fabric itself can carry meaning—and that textiles can shape both the sensibility and structure of a garment—Bae Youngjin introduced a textile-centered design philosophy that was largely unfamiliar in Korea at the time. This approach led to a deep engagement with material development and structural understanding, forming a foundation of knowledge and sensibility that would later become the starting point of POMOK. Building on this foundation, POMOK evolved into a family business dedicated to advancing the future and potential of Korean textiles. Through skills and experience accumulated across generations, POMOK seeks to pass on the sustainability and value of the Korean textile industry to the next generation.
